How to Log In to a TP-Link Router
Connect to the network
Make sure your device is connected to the TPLINK WIFI network - over Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable.
Open the admin page
Enter your TPLINK WIFI default IP address in your browser's address bar
Sign in
Use the default username and password from the table above - both are usually admin.
Reset the Router to Factory Settings
- Power on the router and wait until it is stable.
- Find the small Reset button on the back, usually inside a pinhole.
- Press and hold it for 10-15 seconds until the lights blink.
- Release it and wait for the router to reboot, then use the default login.
Most TP-Link WiFi routers use 192.168.0.1 or tplinkwifi.net as the admin address, with admin / admin as the default credentials. Newer Archer models sometimes use admin plus a password printed on the router label, so check under the device if the standard login fails. If you forgot the password you set, reset the router using the Reset button and log in with the defaults again. After logging in, change the default password to keep your network secure.
